AliGon won Hitbox's Arena Showdown Championship following a 2-1 victory over ESG! in the final (12-16 on de_mirage, 16-6 on de_inferno and 16-6 on de_dust2.

In the last three days, eight teams from all over Europe battled it out in yet another edition of Hitbox's Championship, hoping to succeed Titan, the winner of the last tournament.

Perhaps the biggest surprise in the entire competition came in the form of the Copenhagen Wolves squad crashing out in the semi-finals at the expense of AliGon, who now feature former LGB eSports ace Dennis "dennis" Edman.

In the Grand Final, AliGon got off on the wrong foot, losing the first map, de_mirage, to ESG! 12-16. However, on de_inferno and de_dust2 AliGon were far too hot to handle as they ran out 16-6 victors on both maps, with Edman, Mathias "pauf" Köhler and Jerry "xelos" Råberg leading the fragging department.
